Cylinders
Based on a tie bar design the range of cylinders offer durable construction with a high degree of corrosion resistance in comparison to welded designs. The maximum speed of operation is dependent upon the selected material of construction and sealing technique. The materials are selected with respect to the application, duty cycle and fluid. Standard cylinders are 316 Stainless and high grade engineering polymer, an additional ceramic coating can be applied for extreme environments and duty cycles. The range ensures an appropriate life with low maintenance as the most cost effective solution.
Janus cylinders come in a standard of "end types" (threaded rod, spherical rod end, piston end flange, piston spherical rod end etc..). Janus cylinders may also be customer specified. From ∅32 to 150mm bores as standard

Motors
The Janus axial piston motors are totally oil free, clean and completely safe to operate. As a result of employing advanced materials, high velocity and loaded sliding surfaces, the range of motors can operate effectively with water as their only coolant/lubricant. This removes the potential for cross contamination of the system fluid or lubricating oil. Each motor employs technology which minimizes vibration and ensures a low noise yet high efficient operation. The result is an exceptionally small, high weight product.
Manufactured in 316 Stainless steel as standard, the motor offers excellent resistance to corrosive fluids. The materials utilized internally can be selected to suit the most appropriate combinations for not only tap water but also for sea water and other various fluids.
Minimal pulsation is experienced with these units due to the multiple piston design and high operational speeds. The physical size of the motor in comparison to the power generated offers one of the most compact drive solutions.

Pumps
The Janus range of pumps are based on the axial piston principle which is both light and compact relative to their volumetric displacement ( available from 0.8cc/rev to 625cc/rev ).
Up to 9 pistons per pump ensure very small pressure ripples removing the need for accumulators. As a result of employing advanced materials, high velocity and loaded sliding surfaces can operate effectively with water as their only coolant/lubricant. The potential for cross contamination of the system fluid or lubricant is removed.
The pumps are manufactured in 316 Stainless or Duplex materials making them highly resistant to corrosion and ideal for reverse osmosis applications. Accurate flow metering is simply achieved with the control of the output shaft speed. Janus axial piston motors are based on the axial piston principle for high speed applications or with our range of gearboxes for low speed high torque systems.
Valves
A unique patented range of control valves are designed to control the pressure, the flow and the direction of the water hydraulic media and thus the direction, speed and torque/force from the motors and cylinders. The valves are available with manual hydraulic pilot as well as electrical activation.
The valves are manufactured as inline versions or integrated into custom designed blocks to reduce the number of expensive fittings required and enabling easier maintenance.
